You’ll save money by using your own sandpaper to make sanding sleeves as you need them. It’s quick and easy and it allows you to use higher quality sandpaper.
Just cut and fold any type of sheet sandpaper to make your sleeve. Use the original piece of sandpaper that comes with the drum as your template.

Directions:
Step 1) Use the original sandpaper that comes with your drum as a template. Cut your sandpaper to match those dimensions.
Step 2) Fold the ends of the new sandpaper using the original sandpaper as a template. We suggest making a small board to use over and over as your folding jig.
Step 3) Form the new paper into a cylinder and then slide it down over the sander.
Step 4) Squeeze the paper to remove the slack and to push the ends into the slot.
