“I am the proud owner of a new VerySuperCoolTools T-square and am using on a 1961 Craftsman cabinet saw. Many years ago I replaced the original with Craftsman’s Exact-I-Rip and lately it won’t hold the alignment with the blade. Seems I have to re-adjust each time. The new T-square is the best investment I could have made for the saw.” – Bill Rouleau

VERYSUPERCOOL TOOLS TABLE SAW FENCE SYSTEM REVIEW by Bill Rouleau (submitted through our website)
Restored a 1946 Delta Unisaw, and was on the fence about buying a fence from very supercool tools just because I wasn’t sure I wanted to screw around with making the rails. I didn’t think my beginning welding 101 in 9th grade 30 years ago was going to provide much help. I spoke with the owner and he was extremely helpful, we chatted for what must have been a half hour, I felt guilty I was keeping him from his work. I learned the head for the t square assembly was machined in Minnesota, and since I live in the part of the MN the Iron ore probably came from that really sealed the deal for me. I purchased the materiel’s for the rails and watched the video and to my great surprise it came out perfect, and I actually really enjoyed working with metal of that type for my first time. My old fence was a Vega and I don’t want to rip on them but I did have some trouble keeping that fence square, in fairness to them it was probably my fault due to the saw and the way it was mounted. The instructions with the vega were a nightmare for a new woodworker. Of my limited experience the Very Supercool Tools fence is just a much better designed tool, it just feels like a beast when you assemble it and I have no anxiety about its squareness or accuracy. It took me about a year to find, buy and restore the saw, during that time I was unemployed from the oilfield and probably shouldn’t have bought the fence when I did, I know my wife wouldn’t think so, but its been several months so I should be safe. I would buy this fence again under the exact same circumstances and especially would recommend building your own rails. If yo have read this far thanks, I wish Very SuperCool Tools future success and hope to be a repeat customer.
